A new headteacher is coming…
After more than five years at Victoria Primary School, Mr Gray will soon be leaving us. Our school really is a very different place to what it was when he first arrived in 2016. After such a long time here, Mr Gray is obviously sad to be getting ready to say goodbye, but he is also excited for his new job. From June, he will be a Director of Schools for an academy trust in South Yorkshire.
This means that our school will soon have a new headteacher. Our own academy trust have been searching for the right person for over a month and are excited to be holding interviews for the job next week. As soon as we are able to, we will let you know who our next headteacher will be!
Mothers’ Day Craft Afternoon - Today
A reminder that the ladies in our children’s lives are welcome to join them in class from 2.15 this afternoon for a craft making activity. If you have more than one child, feel free to move between their classrooms – it’s no problem. What a lovely start to Mothers’ Day Weekend!
Red Nose Day
Thank you for sending in your donations for last week’s super hero red nose day. We sent £197 to support the Red Nose Day charity!
Homecare Workers Required!
Do you want flexible working hours to suit you?
Do you have the compassion to support vulnerable residents in our communities?
Flexible positions are available now with local homecare providers across Nottingham.
With these roles you can work close to home, work flexible hours and make the most of training and opportunities to progress your career within the sector.
Could you or someone you know provide this valuable support? Carrying out some practical and everyday tasks for vulnerable and elderly residents can be extremely rewarding – not only for those helping but for these people receiving the help.
No previous experience is necessary, just a desire to care for others.
