Nursery Admissions
Victoria Primary School offers Nursery places for children who are in the year before Reception Class (full time school).
Our Nursery serves different families in different ways.

A 15 hours – mornings only - 09.00 to 12.00 during school term times.
Child is eligible for 15 hours of free childcare (part time nursery)
A 15 hours – mornings with charged afternoon top up – 09.00 to 15.15 during school term times.
“My child is eligible for 15 hours of free childcare (part time nursery).
I would like to pay to increase this to full time 09.00 – 15.15.”
B 15 hours – Full Time Offer - 09.00 to 15.15 during school term times.
Child is eligible for 15 hours of free childcare and qualifies for EYPP.
B 15 hours – EYPP mornings only - 09.00 to 12.00 during school term times.
Child is eligible for 15 hours of free childcare and qualifies for EYPP.
C 30 hours - Full time - 09.00 to 15.15 during school term times.
Child is eligible for 30 hours of free childcare.
C 30 hours – mornings only
My child is eligible for 30 hours of free childcare (full time nursery)
BUT I would only want them to attend 09.00 to 12.00 during school term times so that I can use the remaining 15 hours care elsewhere.
Early Years Pupil Premium
The early years pupil premium (EYPP) is additional funding for early years settings to improve the education they provide for disadvantaged 3- and 4-year-olds. We offer "Use 1 hour, get 1 hour free" places to eligible families.
Eligibility
3- and 4-year-olds in state-funded early education will attract EYPP funding if they meet at least 1 of the following criteria:
- their family gets 1 of the following:
- Income Support
- income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance
- income-related Employment and Support Allowance
- support under part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
- the guaranteed element of State Pension Credit
- Child Tax Credit (provided they’re not also entitled to Working Tax Credit and have an annual gross income of no more than £16,190)
- Working Tax Credit run-on, which is paid for 4 weeks after they stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit
- Universal Credit
- they are currently being looked after by a local authority in England or Wales
- they have left care in England or Wales through:
- an adoption
- a special guardianship order
