Breakfast and Lunch

Lunch Time Food

Victoria Primary School's dinners are provided by Aspens Catering. They are delicious, healthy, have daily variety and great value for money. Chris and her team work hard to look after all the children's dietary requirements. The children are served in one 'flowing' sitting with two hot meal choices or a sandwich option available every day. Each main course is served with a daily pudding to finish with!

A current termly menu is also available via email and can be seen on the noticeboard outside the school office.

Children who prefer to bring their own packed lunch from home are encouraged to bring a healthy lunchbox. Ideas for this can be found on the link at the side of this page.

Breakfast Club and Playground Bagels

Victoria Primary School is proud to be in partnership with The National School Breakfast Programme providing healthy breakfasts to our pupils so that they are settled and ready to learn.

NSBP provides children with nutritious breakfast food to ensure children start their school day in the best possible way. Breakfast gives children the energy needed for the busy school morning, enabling them to focus on their lessons.

Here at Victoria Primary School, we are committed to ensuring no child is too hungry to learn. Breakfast is available every day:

Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club is available for children in Reception Class through to Year 6. Club opens at 0800 every day and toast, bagels and cereal are available.

Breakfast Club is free for those children who receive means-tested Free School Meals or 50p per session for everyone else.

There is no need to book in advance, just turn up at the school office on the day.

Playground Bagels

Toasted bagels are provided for any children who want one, free of charge, every day. Look out for a staff member near the bike store with the big black box of bagels between 8.35am and 8.50am. Just grab and go on your way into class!
