Magnificent Motors
This half term, our topic is all about electricity and circuits linking to science and DT.
Our end goal is to make a moving car using a motor.
Today, Bronte Class have been exploring how to make simple circuits. They all managed to make the light bulb light up!
Motors
Bronte class made circuits with motors and switches. Ask your child how a switch works.
Prototypes
This week, Pankhurst class have been making prototypes for their motors. Ask your child if their prototype could move!
Bronte class also made their prototypes- they learnt some valuable lessons ready for their final projects.
Making Final Project
Bronte class have started to make their final projects. They have made their Axel and secured them using a hot glue gun!
