India

This half term, our topic is all about India. It is mainly linked to geography, art, RE and languages. We look forward to learning about India's culture. Also, about their economy, human and physical features.

India afternoon

We started our topic off with an India afternoon. The children got to do Bollywood dancing, taste some Indian food and draw Rangoli patterns using chalk.

Rangoli Patterns

They designed and painted rangoli patterns. Ask your child all about rangoli patterns.

Rama and Sita

In English, we looked at the story of Rama and Sita. We acted out the story using freeze frames and did lots of grammar work to build up to their final piece of writing.
