Inspection Success!

Last week the Nova Education Trust (our Academy Group) inspected our school. You may have been one of the parents who was asked for your opinion on the playground in the morning! The inspectors found:

- Beautifully behaved, polite and positive children who have strong relationships with caring staff

- Good quality Early Years teaching with results in the top 15 of all Nottingham schools in 2017

- Good early reading teaching – putting us above the national average in Year 1 Phonics results and at the same standard as national results in Maths and Reading by age 7.

- Good teaching with strong questioning to make sure that children understand their learning

- Quickly improving presentation in books and improving learning skills for older children who haven’t always had pride in their work

- Strong support for vulnerable children

- Good lunchtimes with quality adults who help children to play positively and safely.
