End of Week 1 Update

Mr Gray left a video on Instagram for families at the end of the first week of home learning. If you haven't followed us on Instagram yet, this is a great way to keep in touch with school at this time.

The priorities for families as we head into week 2 of home learning are:

1) Keep safe and well. The reason school is closed is to stop the spread of coronavirus so make sure you are following the advice and staying safe with your family.

2) Read with your children every day if you can - doesn't need to be the school reading book, read whatever interests your child, anything on the internet that will keep them interested.

3) Keep the basic maths ticking over - counting up to 100 with little ones and any times tables from Year 2 and above.

4) The home learning packs are full of stuff to keep children busy. We know it might be tough being at home - so keep it in perspective. The top priority is to keep safe and well. If you can't get this pack to work, focus on higher priorities instead.

5) If you need more to do, check out class webpages where staff are updating with ideas and resources regularly.

If you have any questions or need help with this, email Paula on office@victoriaprimaryschool.org.uk who will pass your message on to your child's teacher.

Keep safe and well - take care.
