Coronavirus update

Staffing at School

School remains open under the instruction of the government. We are working hard to make sure that children have as consistent a time as possible. However some staff are now unable to come to work due to government advice. This includes Mr Gray who has high-risk health conditions. He is working behind the scenes with Mrs Brook, Deputy Head, to keep things running as smoothly as possible.

Coronavirus - Symptoms

The government says that people should stay at home for 14 days if they or anyone in their house have either:

  • a high temperature – they feel hot to touch on their chest or back
  • a new, continuous cough – this means they have started coughing repeatedly

If anyone has one of these symptoms, everyone in the house should:

  • Stay at home for 14 days
  • Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital.
  • You do not need to contact 111 to tell them you're staying at home.
  • Testing for coronavirus is not needed if you're staying at home.

Only children who are healthy and from symptom-free houses should come to school.
