Staff changes after easter

Welcome back to Mrs Evans, good bye to Mr Bown. (Whole School - 27/03/2018)

At the end of this week we say goodbye to Mr Bown who has been covering temporary contracts at the school back-to-back for the last two years. Mr Bown has taught almost every child in school during this time. As well as his organisation of our recent STEM activity day, the staff have been very grateful for his excellent IT skills and great team work with each year group. Mr Bown is moving to another academy in our Nova Education Trust group and we know they will be as pleased to see him as we have been!

As Mr Bown moves on, we will need to make sure that classes have the best teachers for their age and needs. This means that a few changes to staffing will be made for the Summer Term:

Mrs Evans – We are pleased to welcome Mrs Evans back to school after her maternity leave. Mrs Evans will also cover weekly teacher release time for Miss O’D and Miss White in place of Mr Bown,

Mrs Robinson – We are pleased to welcome Mrs Robinson to Year 1 Nightingale each Monday for the summer term. An experienced teacher with a specialism in special needs, Mrs Robinson has met our Year 1 staff and children today ready to get started straight after the holidays.
